Low mandarin collar:
1-1.5 inches, rests at side of neck, allows one button.
1-1.5 inches, rests at side of neck, allows one button.
Medium mandarin collar:
2-3 inches, rests at side of neck, allows up to two buttons.
2-3 inches, rests at side of neck, allows up to two buttons.
High mandarin collar:
3-3.5 inches, high enough to graze underside of neck, allows up to three buttons.
3-3.5 inches, high enough to graze underside of neck, allows up to three buttons.
Flared collar:
2-3 inches high, combine with slit or keyhole closure.

Large flared collar:
3-3.5 inches high, front closure at high waist. Requires inner shirt/dress.
